Shallowford House was founded in 1938 by J.T.Webster, who gave the house to the Diocese of Lichfield to be used as a training, and retreat centre for the clergy and parishioners of Lichfield Diocese.
Since then, we have broadened our offering to include all people from the region, and have maintained our strong link with the diocese and with the parishes that make it up.
Our aim is to provide an excellent conference and retreat venue, specialising in providing education and retreat services.
