Public Rooms

There are a variety of meeting rooms, breakout spaces, and public rooms to choose from, which can be adapted to suit the needs of your group. Our pricing package can be for room hire only, or to include refreshments, meals, or overnight stays. There is free wi-fi access all around the house. We have an electric charging point that can be used by guests for £3.50 an hour. Please inform us prior to arrival if you would like to use this facility. Various pieces of IT equipment can be hired for a charge.

The Lounge

A relaxing meeting space with armchairs and sofas as well as a beautiful dining table seating up to 8 people. There is a log fire to make it the perfect place for relaxing on cold evenings

The John Young Reading Room

With a good selection of theological books, this room can be used for groups of 6-8 people, as well as a quiet study space.

The Lichfield Room

This is a large room with garden views and seating for up to 40 people conference style. It is equipped with large screen tv for data projection and a hearing loop system.

The Dining Room

This can seat up to 40 guests and be arranged to suit your needs. Within the dining area is a licensed bar serving a selection of wines, beers, spirits, and soft drinks. The bar will be opened at a time to suit your timetable.

The Webster Room

This room can be a boardroom, dining area, or art room for up to 8 people. It looks out onto the back lawn.

The Chaplain’s Room

Suitable as a meeting room for 8 people, it can also be used as an individual space.

John Cox Suite

This is ideal for smaller groups of about 20 in size wanting a self-contained space and seating that can be arranged to suit your needs.

The Conservatory

This is a lovely place to sit during breaks while enjoying the view of the gardens.
