Shallowford has a wide group of volunteer assistants, led by the Friends of Shallowford, a separate organisation that supports the house in numerous ways.

We are also always on the lookout for anyone who might be interested in the work of the house, and who might be willing to contribute a little of their spare time to help in some way.

For instance, we are always in need of people to help...
- put a lick of paint in the bedrooms
- help maintain our beautiful gardens
- assist with general 'handyman' work.
