Public Rooms

Our meetings and conference facilities are well laid out and adaptable to the needs of your group. Shallowford is about 3 miles from Junction 14 of the M6 - within an hour of Birmingham, Manchester or Stoke-on-Trent, making us very accessible for your delegates. We have a variety of meetings rooms, breakout spaces and public rooms to choose from.

Our pricing package can be for room hire only, or to include refreshments, meals or overnight stays. There is free Wi-Fi access around the house. We provide flip charts and pens for your use, as well as A4 photocopying at a small charge. Please contact us for prices and availability.

The Library
Having a good selection of theological books. It can be used for small meetings and as a break out space for 6-8 people.
The Meetings Room
Seating for up to 40 people conference style. This is a large light room with the original shutters in use on the windows. Equipped with a fixed data projector and loop sound system.
The Dining Room
Seating up to 40 people and tables can be arranged to suit your group.
The Webster Room
A board-room style meetings room or dining room for up to 8 people. It has lovely garden views.
The Chaplain's Room
Can be used as a meetings room for up to 12 people, or for a more informal interview space.
The Conservatory
A popular place to be during coffee breaks and enjoy the view of the garden.
The Lounge
Providing a comfortable space for a group to meet informally, or over coffee. It has armchairs and sofas as well as a beautiful dining room table. Drinks are served from the licenced bar, stocking a range of beers, Fairtrade wine, spirits and soft drinks - perfect for relaxing in the evening.
John Cox Suite
A suite of rooms, ideal for smaller groups requiring privacy, or available to larger groups where more break out rooms are needed.
Seating up to 24 people conference style. It has a fixed data projector and screen.
A break out room for up to 4 people.
A small break out room for 2 people.
