Public Rooms

Our meetings and conference facilities are well laid out and adaptable to the needs of your group. Shallowford is about 3 miles from Junction 14 of the M6 - within an hour of Birmingham, Manchester or Stoke-on-Trent, making us very accessible for your delegates. We have a variety of meetings rooms, breakout spaces and public rooms to choose from.

Our pricing package can be for room hire only, or to include refreshments, meals or overnight stays. There is free Wi-Fi access around the house. We provide flip charts and pens for your use, as well as A4 photocopying at a small charge. Please contact us for prices and availability.

The Lounge

A relaxing space with armchairs and sofas as well as a beautiful dining room table seating up to 8 people. There is a log fire to make it the perfect place for relaxing evenings.


The John Young Reading Room

With a good selection of theological books, it can be used for small meetings for 6-8 people, as well as for a quiet study space.

Lichfield room

The Lichfield Room

Seating for up to 40 people conference style. This is a large light room with garden views and the original shutters on the windows. It is equipped with a fixed data projector, large tv and loop sound system.

Dining room

The Dining Room

Seating up to 40 people, the tables can be arranged to suit your group. Drinks are served from the licenced bar, stocking a range of beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks

Webster room

The Webster Room

A boardroom, dining room or art room for up to 8 people. It has lovely garden views.

Chaplain's room

The Chaplain's Room

Can be used as a meetings room for up to 12 people, or for a more informal interview space.

The conservatory

The Conservatory

A popular place to be during coffee breaks and enjoy the view of the garden.

John Cox Suite

This is ideal for smaller groups wanting a self-contained space, or for larger groups where more break out rooms are needed.
